International Technology and Engineering Educators Association

The International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) is the professional organization for technology, innovation, design, and engineering educators. Our mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and engineering and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits. ITEEA strengthens the profession through leadership, professional development, membership services, publications, and classroom activities.     

The International Technology and Engineering Educators Association's STEM±Center for Teaching and Learning™ has developed the only standards-based national model for Grades K-12 that delivers technological literacy in a STEM context. The model, Engineering byDesign™ is built on the Common Core State Standards ( High School / Middle School, with NGSS coming soon), Standards for Technological Literacy (ITEEA); Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (NCTM); and Project 2061, Benchmarks for Science Literacy (AAAS). Additionally, the Program K-12 has been mapped to the National Academy of Engineering's Grand Challenges for Engineering. 

The International Technology and Engineering Educators Council for Supervision and Leadership (ITEEA-CSL) is a professional organization operating under ITEEA. The CSL represents leaders in Technology and Engineering education. This includes state and local school system administrators, school department chairs, professional association officers and any professional who wishes to gain a better understanding of how educational leadership is shaping a new generation of learners.     

The Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association (TEECA) shall serve as a pre­professional organization providing opportunities to develop the professionalism of future technology and engineering educators through active participation in TSA, ITEEA, and TEECA proceedings.
